About the role
Our client is an innovative and international technology company acting as a pioneer in the marine and energy markets. At the heart of the company is enabling a sustainable society and supporting the transition towards a carbon-neutral future by utilizing new innovations.
In this role, you will work with automation and control systems as part of a unit that develops and maintains embedded engine control systems. The current Scrum Masters find their work highly rewarding, especially when they see their team members grow and develop. You will get to analyze current working methods, brainstorm improvements, and see the results of your work quickly in practice!
Work tasks
Your workdays will consist of running versatile everyday team operations and broader organizational-level events. Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
- Preparing and facilitating team events (such as dailies, planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives)
- Ensuring communication and information flow between developers, other teams, and stakeholders
- Researching and implementing agile best practices into the teams' daily work
- Identifying areas for development in team operations and leading improvement initiatives
- Working closely with the company's other Scrum Masters and Agile leaders to improve the performance of the entire organization
- Communicating with stakeholders regarding ongoing, upcoming, and past development projects
We are looking for
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have a genuine curiosity for learning new things and a passion for the continuous improvement of working methods. You are a skilled facilitator who can communicate and present naturally to diverse target audiences.
Our ideal candidate has:
- A certification (Certified Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Methodology Trainer)
- Previous work experience in a Scrum Master, Team Coach, or similar role OR a highly enthusiastic and proactive attitude toward the role
- An applicable higher education degree (University of Applied Sciences or University)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English language skills (the company's working language)
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process development
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience in change management
- Technical background or understanding of software development
- Previous experience coaching teams through organizational shifts
