Business Analyst for the banking sector

About the role

As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in a key commercial initiative, relaunching an existing banking product. You will translate complex business needs into actionable requirements, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and ensure seamless product development and launch within the Finnish market.

Work tasks

This role involves translating complex business requirements into technical specifications, facilitating stakeholder communication, managing documentation, and supporting product development for a significant banking product relaunch. It requires a hands-on approach to ensure successful implementation and market entry.

• Convert rulebooks, API specifications, and business needs into clear requirements.
• Create and refine capabilities, features, and user stories according to hub guidelines.
• Groom backlog items effectively.
• Support product managers and owners in collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Provide visibility to product manager/product owner on status, blockers, and next steps.
• Keep documentation up-to-date and track progress of requirements, tasks, and decisions.
• Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions, documenting discussions and outcomes.

We are looking for

• Advanced knowledge of A2A retail and mobile payments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and planning skills.
• Advanced knowledge of documenting requirements (e.g., converting rulebooks and business needs into clear requirements).
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Fluent in English.

It is meritorious if you have

• Good knowledge of POS and card payments.
• Good knowledge of ISO 20022 standards.
• Good knowledge of SEPA Request-to-Pay (SRTP).
• Good knowledge of e-invoicing and Finvoice standards.
• Good understanding of large-scale end-to-end payment integrations.
• Good knowledge of IT analysis practices.
• Good knowledge of new product launching processes.
• Good knowledge of Finnish language.
