About the role

As a Jr Data Scientist, you will be an integral part of data analysis team, contributing directly to Real-World Evidence studies. This hands-on role involves working with sensitive health data and engaging with diverse stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry. You will develop your skills in data analysis, reporting, and client communication, making a tangible impact on healthcare.

Work tasks

This role involves the analysis, processing, and interpretation of sensitive patient-level data. You will be responsible for developing analytical solutions, communicating findings, and collaborating with medical and pharmaceutical experts to drive impactful research.

• Perform independent analysis and processing of sensitive patient-level data for RWE studies.
• Communicate complex findings effectively, to diverse stakeholders including medical professionals and clients.
• Contribute to scientific manuscripts, statistical analysis plans, and study designs.
• Develop and implement new analysis solutions and pipelines within the analytics team.
• Engage directly with clients and subject matter experts to gather insights and present results.

We are looking for

• Master’s level education in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Sciences, or Engineering).
• Good knowledge of the health sector and medical terminology.
• Experience in R for data analysis.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

It is meritorious if you have

• General knowledge of Git.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Experience in research assistance or similar roles during studies.
• Fluency in Finnish or another Nordic language.
