About the role
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will ensure the quality and robustness of our client's system. You will be responsible for defining test strategies, driving test automation, and managing security and performance testing within an agile team, collaborating closely with developers.

Work tasks
This role involves ensuring the highest quality of the system through comprehensive test automation, strategic test planning, and collaboration within an agile development team, covering backend and frontend testing, security, and performance.
- Write automated tests for backend and frontend systems.
- Choose and recommend optimal testing tools for the project.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to produce robust test cases and scenarios.
- Provide visibility on test results and system coverage.
- Conduct test automation reviews.
- Analyze test results, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
- Drive test automation, security testing, performance testing, and test management.
We are looking for
- Practical knowledge of test automation frameworks.
- Experience in implementing, deploying, and orchestrating end-to-end test suites.
- Proficiency in test case definition, test coverage planning, risk-based testing, and exploratory testing.
- Advanced knowledge of API testing, web application testing, vulnerability testing, non-functional testing, and integration testing in a cloud environment.
- Ability to align testing with agile software development and sprint objectives.
- Expert knowledge or familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Docker, Cucumber, Gherkin Language, Zephyr, Git, GitHub Actions, Playwright, Appium, Postman/Insomnia, MongoDB, MySQL.
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Full professional proficiency in written and oral English.
- Enjoys working in a multilingual/multicultural environment.
It is meritorious if you have
- Knowledge of electricity flexibility markets, smart charging, smart heating, charge point management systems, and electric vehicles.
- Familiarity with Pulsar, NATS, OCPP, Kotlin, Python, MQTT.
