Project Coordinator, Sandvik Mining & Construction Oy, Turku

About the role

As a Project Coordinator, you will be ensuring the smooth execution of our client's module development projects including various technologies. You will support project managers, manage project timelines and resources, and coordinate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals in a dynamic team environment. The position is based at Sandvik’s Turku site, the primary hub for product development and manufacturing of Load and Haul equipment.

Work tasks

This role involves coordinating and managing various module development projects. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress, ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders, and supporting project managers to deliver successful outcomes.

• Plan and prepare projects, including proposals, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Support project execution and coordination by assisting the project manager and following project models.
• Monitor and report progress, forecasts, costs, and productivity across project phases.
• Collaborate and communicate actively with key stakeholders across functions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project office processes and tools.
• Grow into taking ownership of smaller projects, and eventually coordinate them independently as your skills develop.

We are looking for

• University degree in a relevant field (M.Sc. or B.Sc. preferred).
• Some project experience is an advantage, but motivated starters are also welcome.
• Interest in technology and eagerness to learn about implementation in mining equipment.
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing deadlines.
• Proficiency in English, Finnish skills are an advantage.
