
Project Manager, Kempower, Vaasa
We are now looking for a Project Manager for our client Kempower to strengthen the product development team in Vaasa. In this role, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional product development projects focused on developing new products and features as part of the rapidly growing e-mobility charging solutions business.
About the role
As a Project Manager, you will lead product development projects from start to finish – from planning and resourcing to delivery and implementation. You will work closely with various functions such as R&D, Quality, Production, and Procurement to ensure projects progress according to plan and meet quality, schedule, cost, and efficiency targets. We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented project leader who can see the big picture while keeping projects on track in a fast-paced environment. You work independently yet collaboratively and can naturally combine technical understanding with practical project management. The position is located in Vaasa, with a start date no later than January 2026.

Work tasks
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on developing new products or features for MCS solutions
- Planning, budgeting, resource utilization, progress presentation, issue resolution, and overall project execution
- Supervise projects from initiation through delivery or implementation
- Ensure successful project implementation and achievement of quality, reliability, schedule, efficiency, and cost goals
- Coordinate collaboration between multiple stakeholders and functions
We are looking for
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in large-scale hardware or software development projects
- Relevant university degree (MSc or BSc in Engineering, Technology, or related field)
- Background in industrial product development and understanding of both hardware and software development environments
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in English (company language); Finnish or Swedish is considered an advantage
