Technical Purchaser, Aurelia Technology, Lappeenranta

About the role

As a Technical Purchaser, you will become a part of the Supply Chain team. You will work closely also with suppliers, planning, finance and other stakeholders. The office is located in Lappeenranta but you can also work remotely in a hybrid model.

Your main responsibilities include the following:

• Procurement planning and implementation: preparing and sending requests for quotations, comparing quotations, placing purchase orders
• Using ERP for procurement, upkeeping the ERP master data (e.g. creating items and suppliers, making sure information is valid)
• Maintaining the specific Bill of Materials for procurement purposes
• Supply chain coordination: monitoring and ensuring delivery schedules of goods
• Checking and approving received invoices, communication with the finance department
• Preparing and sending complaints to suppliers on quality or other issues

We are looking for

You might be the person we are looking for, if you have:

• Suitable educational background (for example M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering)
• Previous experience in purchasing (preferably at least 1-3 years)
• Fluency in English, Finnish is seen as an advantage
• Proactive and independent way of working
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to withstand occasional tight deadlines and prioritizing

If you have experience in using Microsoft Dynamics Nav, it is seen as an advantage.
