Test Automation Engineer, Vantaa

About the role

As a Test Engineer, you will engage with test automation in various ways. Your responsibilities will include designing new test methods, enhancing existing test systems, and continuously improving testing processes. On a daily basis, you'll explore new technologies, identify potential failure points, and create and implement test scenarios, primarily using Python. Additionally, you'll maintain and develop test systems and handle small electronics tasks such as tracing wiring and establishing connections. You will be part of the Weather Stations software team consisting of skilled professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to develop a groundbreaking platform for different meteorological and weather-related applications.

Work tasks

• Perform testing and automation for physical devices and their software
• Write and maintain comprehensive test cases
• Participate in projects and continuous maintenance of existing products
• Collaborate closely with software development team and other stakeholders
• Explore and develop skills in applying AI to testing

We are looking for

• Suitable education background (e.g. IT)
• Strong Python experience
• Experience in writing test cases
• Familiar with Linux environment
• Experience with Docker
• Experience working physical devices and embedded software

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiar with Robot Framework
• Github actions

• AI experience
