About the role
This role is central to our client's financial operations, focusing on financial accounting, reporting, and supporting system development. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team, working closely with another accountant and interacting with various internal and external stakeholders.

Work tasks
This role involves comprehensive financial accounting and reporting, with a strong emphasis on supporting ongoing system development. You will manage critical financial processes, contribute to monthly and quarterly closings, and ensure accurate financial analysis.
- Perform month-end and quarterly closing activities for financial accounting.
- Analyze financial results related to financial accounting events.
- Execute individual accounting tasks arising from specific projects.
- Provide support for ongoing system development initiatives.
- Manage daily liquidity and treasury payments.
- Collaborate with group accounting GL teams and external auditors.
We are looking for
- Advanced experience in financial accounting, including understanding various financial instruments.
- Proficiency in SAP systems.
- Strong data orientation and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working within a large corporation or group environment.
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., Quantum, Twin).
- Good knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience with year-end and quarterly closing tasks.
- Good command of English for professional communication.
