Financial Controller, NG Nordic Finland, Espoo

About the role

As a Financial Controller, you will be strengthening our finance team, primarily focusing on supporting in system development topics. In this important role, you will contribute in NG Nordic´s ERP post-implementation development work and drive continuous improvement in financial processes. Position is a one-year fixed-term contract.

Work tasks

This role is central to optimizing financial operations and systems further development. You will assign user queries, contribute to system and process enhancements, and ensure the efficiency of financial control tasks within a growing Nordic group.

• Actively participate in financial system development (D365, Semine).
• Handle and resolve finance-related support requests.
• Coordinate AP invoice handling process development and support business end-users.
• Contribute to general financial controlling tasks, including monthly closing and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with IT System Manager, external accounting services, and Nordic finance teams.
• Participate in finance process development, including internal controls.
• Support new business integration cases.

We are looking for

• Knowledge of core financial processes (Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Record to Report, Fixed Assets).
• Relevant academic background in Accounting or Corporate Finance.
• Good understanding of Finnish Accounting rules, VAT, and taxation.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, SAP).
• Experience in financial systems related projects.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Advanced Excel and Office suite proficiency.
• Fluent in English.
• Systematic, precise, and adaptable working style.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience in development projects of ERP or other financial systems.
• Experience in process development and standardization.
• Fluent in Finnish.
