About the role
This role is responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end onboarding journey for new suppliers, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily flow of supplier requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring that all tasks in the pipeline are properly tracked and addressed. You will handle supplier registration in the systems, keep stakeholder information up to date, and support the main point of contact for each supplier.
Your responsibilities will also include collaboration with other teams, such as Master Data Management, and supporting activities like:
- Data entry and updates in procurement systems
- Conducting supplier risk assessments (e.g., financial and background checks)
- Managing supplier code escalations
The role requires close collaboration with various internal stakeholders, and you will be part of ongoing process changes, adapting to improvements and new ways of working. Depending on workload and team priorities, you may also support procurement and sourcing activities, including tender preparation and system support for internal users.
We are looking for
- Relevant academical background
- Some relevant work experience (finance, procurement or purchasing), preferably in a large organization
- Good IT and system skills (e.g. Ariba, SAP, cloud services, master data tools)
- Fluent English skills, German is a plus

- Good communication and collaboration skills, as the role involves working closely with multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn new tools and systems quickly
