About the role
As a Condition Monitoring Engineer, you will execute condition monitoring related services for Azipod® propulsion systems, working within the Condition Monitoring team. Your role involves close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal vessel performance and uptime.

Work tasks
As a Condition Monitoring Engineer, you will be responsible for the execution of condition monitoring services for Azipod® propulsion systems as part of the Propulsion Services unit's Condition Monitoring team. You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure that vessels remain in optimal operating condition. Your daily tasks will include collecting and analyzing condition monitoring data, reporting and communicating with customers, investigating identified issues, defining actions and follow-up, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Collecting and analyzing condition monitoring related data
- Reporting in close communication line with customers
- Ownership of identified issues by defining required actions and active follow-up
- Communication with several in-house and external stakeholders
We are looking for
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering (mechanical or relevant field)
- Understanding of condition monitoring methods and failure diagnosis techniques for rotating machines
- Customer-oriented team worker with good communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Experience with databases
It is meritorious if you have
- Previous work experience in condition monitoring services, especially in vibration monitoring and oil and wear debris analysis
- Knowledge of tribology and reliability engineering skills
- Finnish language skills
- Matlab proficiency
