About the role
In this role, you will join product development team, where you will be involved in projects focusing on the modernization and innovation of electrical and automation systems within marine propulsion technologies. The role requires both technical expertise and a proactive mindset to investigate and solve design challenges. You'll be expected to handle several small-scale projects in parallel and contribute to broader engineering discussions and system-level thinking.

Work tasks
- Electrical and automation design in new development and modernization projects
- Creating and reviewing system documentation and functional descriptions
- Conducting feasibility assessments and supporting cost calculations for cooling system upgrades
- Participating in the design of electrical cabinets and components using tools like EPLAN ProPanel
- Collaborating with the team to define system functionalities and technical specifications
We are looking for
- A university degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in electrical engineering, automation, or related field
- Relevant work experience in electrical or automation design (at least a few years preferred)
- A self-driven and curious personality – you enjoy digging into technical topics and asking the right questions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex tasks
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken It is meritorious if you have
- Proficiency in EPLAN ProPanel, or other CAD/CAE tools
- Familiarity with frequency converters (drives), especially in marine applications
- Understanding of cooling systems, heat exchangers, or ventilation solutions
- Experience with technical documentation and writing function descriptions
- Knowledge of Python and performing technical analysis or simulations
