DevOps Engineer, Teleste, Tampere

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the automation, integration, and optimization of our software development, testing and deployment processes.

You would be a first-point contact across the organization in many of the build and tools related questions. Our main task in Devops is to work as a support team for developers and the whole software organization.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Maven-based build systems, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and Linux system administration, ensuring reliable and scalable infrastructure to support development and operations.

Work tasks

• Administer Linux servers (Debian, RHEL, etc.)
• Configure and maintain Jenkins and it’s builds
• Develop further automation in our pipelines and other infra, using tools like bash, python and Ansible
• Assisting colleagues with technical inquiries

We are looking for

• Good knowledge of Linux administration, including package management (Debian, RedHat)
• Knowledge of Jenkins framework or similar
• Ability to script and create automations
• Good English language skills

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience with Ansible automation
• Bash and/or Python scripting skills
• Experience with Maven in Java projects
• Knowledge of version control (Git)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Finnish language skills

• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to assist colleagues
