Project Manager / Design Lead in Data Center Electrical Design

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager / Design Lead to take overall responsibility for the electrical design of data centers. Your specific role will depend on your previous experience and interests, but it will primarily involve managing the electrical design process from planning to commissioning. You will work closely with electrical designers and clients, ensuring that the schedule and plan are manageable both technically and time-wise.

Work tasks

Independent project planning, meetings with clients and electrical designers, and occasional site visits to data centers. Overall, the role depends on the applicant, and the exact tasks will be agreed upon with the selected candidate. Tasks may include, for example:

• Project management together with designers, clients, and other stakeholders
• Electrical, telecommunications, and security design for data centers in collaboration with electrical designers
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress
• Developing design processes
• Participating in operational tasks

We are looking for

• Strong understanding of the electrical industry (previous role as designer, contractor, or expert)
• Experience in managing projects for demanding industrial sites. Experience with data centers is a plus
• Ability to manage complex projects
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Effective stress coping abilities
• Willingness to travel (occasional site visits)
• Fluency in English

It is meritorious if you have
